ZE BRAID

Hello all of you beautiful people! It is snowing outside like crazy and the most wonderful way to spend times like these is with family or friends. I can't wait for Christmas Eve to come and to meet every member of my beautiful family.
On December 7 my hometown Riga experienced something new and wonderful. A new, small (30 seats) movie theatre called "Kino Bize" was opened. "Bize" in latvian means "braid" and this post is about how my braid got on the big, white screen.
A friend of mine took part in a competition "Kino Bize" held. An up-to 1 minute long video had to be filmed and the theme was "braid." The main prize was an invitation to the opening and a chance of the video being used as a trailer and intro before movies. Amazing news - he won! Below you can see the video and leave your thoughts in the comments. It was really fun to shoot and a really nice experience too. And please don't worry about the December 21. Predictions or so-whatever-called should not affect the way we live and enjoy our lives. Do whatever you enjoy and whatever makes you feel good and take care of yourself and the closest ones. The Earth will exist as long as we want it to and take care of it.

H&M FOR BRICK LINE BIKES - SPRING 2013

Dear readers. I don`t know if you have noticed but I am obsessed with one thing. Guess what? It`s bike riding. That is the one thing I can truly enjoy and never get enough of. So I got really excited about the new H&M collaboration with Brick Line Bikes.

I don`t know if you have noticed, but I have always been that colors-of-the-nature kind of girl. I really like all the deep brown and green colors. This season the must have color is burgundy and I am all crazy about it. It looks stunning on every fabric.

The store called Goodstead has plenty of apparel in nature colors and really good quality fabrics. Goodstead comes from Edinburg and has a retail store there too. Their products are not like the clothes we are used to see all around us. I think they are more unique and interesting. I really like the burgundy boots in the picture below. The tiny crosses are a nice touch to them. And that leather jacket on the right is really interesting.. psst.. it`s on sale!

I am so happy! Yesterday I turned 18 and it is official - I have the most amazing friends ever! We went to play bowling and then to Old Riga where I had a chance to use my passport to enter a club, finally!
Below you can see the amazing flower bouquet that my dad gave me. It is so beautiful and still smells wonderful! Thank you daddy ♥

Hello, hello! I kindly welcome you to another post of mine. These photos were taken yesterday at the end of the day, so that is why I probably look too tired, but whatever, got to show you the look. Aside from that, yesterday was very productive and I had a lot of fun and ate delicious meals, like frozen yogurt, sushi, pizza.. Oh junk food, making me happy and regretful at the same time..

By the way, I am very excited and scared at the same time. Tomorrow is the 1st of October which means that I have 19 days left till I am 18. Crazy right? Can`t believe that I have survived all these years, haha. Must say ''thank you'' to my mom and dad for raising me so well. I am very happy with where I am in my life and how I turned out so that is a good thing.

As I said in the previous post, I am going to share with you my favorite pieces from H&M that I bought at the pre-opening party. I was really into a lot of things but these are the ones I loved the most and chose to take home with me.

First of all there is this studded black bag that I fell in love with at the very first moment I saw it. I was looking for a bag like this for a while and finally I found one for affordable price and good quality.

Good day my beautiful followers! Today is the day of my first review. Exciting, isn't it? I just came back home from the third school day. I am actually really happy to go back because I can't sit at home with nothing to do and school definitely makes me wake up early and enjoy every day. By the way, it's my senior year so it's a pretty big deal! But now back to the point of this post. This review is going to be about two L'oreal Paris hair products. I got them for a try-out when I first visited H&M showroom at Polhem PR. You will hear the whole story later, but now lets take a look of what's in the pretty gift bag.

I`m not gonna say a lot. Just so you know, I`ve been very busy lately and today was the last final exam (yay!). Yesterday I was out with my cousin to theater and there was a exhibition too. I`ll let these photos speak for themselves. Enjoy.

You know what I`ve actually missed A LOT? My best friend, since like forever - Alice. We basically grew up together and I could not imagine what my life would be like if I hadn`t met her. We`ve shared laughs, cries, drama and everything teenagers go through. I remember how we used to take each others calls and people on the other line would mistake us with each other.

There was the idol-drama too, when a really long time ago we would argue about celebrities and which of us is more a-like with the celebrity we love. Then we grew up and all the little fights are now some really great memories.

She is the friend with whom you can share your secrets and even if it turns out to be a thing to laugh about you know that you`re being taken seriously.

One of the most stupid and most funny thing we`ve done is making a SPA in her lawn. When the gardeners were still decorating the garden and there were big piles of sand, we dug pits and made them look like little bathtubs. I won`t spread out in details but needless to say that it was a fun day!

She is my best friend no matter what and I am lucky to know such an awesome person, friend and girl.

Sorry for not posting in a while. I`ve been busy and had a lot of things going. As usual good and bad, but it happens. I want to share with you some photos I took with my cousin. She finally bought a bike and now I have a bike-friend. So here are the photos:

1st day we went to Mezaparks. It was a lot of fun because many other bike riders were going there because of the season opening. We even got on the first page of Latvian news site:

BIKE RIDE

Hello dear readers! I am so very sorry for not posting for a while but all the homework I had to do really took my time. Today I went to check on my teeth`s health at hygienist and they are all healthy! Yay! Anyhow, after that I went out with my cousin Lelde and we went for a bike ride because it was so sunny outside and she had just bought a new bike. Here`s how it went:

Hello darlings! I`ve been a bit busy lately, trying to organize my life because it`s a mess - so many things I have to do, so little time. I`ve got some really nice ideas for StefanyStrange but it will take some time to come true. Anyway, today I went to Domina Shopping with my mom. I must say that shoes there looked all the same to me. But I really liked the exhibition you can see in the pictures below. I felt like a real art-lover for a moment, not that I`m not, but I just don`t have the eye for paintings.

Here is what I wore today. It was a long day so please don`t mind my tired face. On my way home I met a cat that is always on the street when I am coming home from school. He`s such a friendly cat, always following me home. I used to feed him because I thought that he lives on the street but then one day a collar appeared around his neck so I guess he`s fine. :)

Okay yes, I am one of them - the macaron-obsessed society. Some time ago I had the chance to try my first macarons ever, but yesterday I found them in some place else - near my home (what a luck). I want you to meet - Muffins and More! It`s a cozy place that now is located in two locations and both super close to my home. Funny that I found the second and newest place by accident. I can`t actually eat anything that consists of flour (that is gluten), but I can`t help myself with these little babies. So here you go, a little, delicious photo post.
