Easter and other thingies

And how was your Easter? :)

Here are couple of my latest Instapic's for you to enjoy. The first to up there are from the Easter when we (students it is) had a nice celebration with closest friends and delicious food. It was the first time when I celebrated Easter by such a nice table, hehe.

 And up here are my favorite snacks - Ben&Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream and triple chocolate chip cookies - and - salad lunch with chicken baked in soy marinade, cherry tomatoes, cheese and chicken lavash snack. I hope I made your taste-buds go a bit nuts.

Up here on the left you can see a beautiful piece of architecture in Copenhagen and my famous garlic bread baguettes with melted cheese. mm..

And here is my face with a 'licious street art next to it. 

God, Hogwarts or whatever you believe in, bless Instagram. :)) This is my only tool for taking shots right now since I sold my beloved Nikon just recently (and that is the reason for my lack of posting).. 

But no worries, I am getting a new camera pretty soon.

H&M SPRING 2014 & H&M HOME

Today I visited the H&M Showroom in Latvia where the Spring 2014 collection was presented. I met  a lot of great people whom I had not seen for a while, drank some champagne and talked fashion.. A great way to end a vacation, don't you think?

About the collection.. 

I must say that I found few pieces that I would love to own and wear this spring. For example, the dark tassel dress below and above is a real key piece to wear to any fashionable public event. 

The collection feels very bohemian yet chic and urban. Lots of tassels, diamonds and ruffles were used to bring this collection to life!

HALENS BOAT TRIP

On Wednesday I was invited to join Halens boat trip where a wonderful presentation was held and amazing table was served. I had a blast and enjoyed the fantastic weather while looking over the horizon..

NEW VINTAGE BY KRISS (PRESS DAY'13)

Last week I attended another press day where many bloggers/journalists/media were introduced to all the newest in fashion/beauty world. 

What I loved the most (not just because of the story behind it, but OH MY the design) was New Vintage by Kriss jewelry. 

Rocks, rocks - rocks everywhere. I find rock a very beautiful material to work with and this Estonian woman Kriss Pōldma happened to know how to do it perfectly. 

NARCISS STORE OPENING

Yesterday, on July 17, the fantastic Latvian brand Narciss celebrated the opening of their first store/studio/fashion cafe in Riga! I am happy that I was invited to be part of this beautiful event.

ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR 2013

Yesterday I posted my outfit from this fair that I attended. Today I present you a little sneak peek into the fair itself (located at Vermanes Darzs). Who, What, Where. 

This week, from June 30 to July 7, XXV Nationwide Latvian Song and XV Dance Celebration takes place in Riga. This celebration is the whole nation ritual and shows how strong are the roots of culture in Latvia. If you happen to be somewhere near us, please, come and join in because the mood in Latvia right now has never been better. Let's celebrate!

NEW YORKER A/W 2013

Last week, on June 6, I had a chance to check out the new Autumn/Winter `13 collection of the brand New Yorker. I have noticed that mainly young teenagers are interested in their clothing, but this event might be the turning point into dressing up not just teenagers but also adults. Personally I loved their sweaters which you can see in the photo below. Having one or two of those in your wardrobe makes sure that you definitely will not be cold when Summer ends. And, ekhm, they sure would look fabulous with a pair of dark jeans and a statement necklace. Just saying.. 

Finally! I am back from my so-called vacation and it is 2013th already! I feel that this year is going to be simply amazing. Many great things happened to me in year 2012 and I can`t wait to see what this year is holding for me. I hope you all had amazing holidays and that you are ready to achieve everything you dream for!

BIRTHDAY GIRL

  I am so happy! Yesterday I turned 18 and it is official - I have the most amazing friends ever! We went to play bowling and then to Old Riga where I had a chance to use my passport to enter a club, finally!
   Below you can see the amazing flower bouquet that my dad gave me. It is so beautiful and still smells wonderful! Thank you daddy ♥
