WORK SPACE UPGRADE | IKEA HAUL

I finally did it! I have been thinking about how my perfect work space/office should look like and how to make it inspiring and functional. I needed a place where I could do my study work, blog and store as many things as possible and I finally found the perfect desk I was looking for. Of course, my go-to store was IKEA, where I could find the perfect, simple furniture for affordable price. So I found this beautiful white Micke table. I had to choose between a bigger one with two drawers or this one with two smaller drawers and hidden shelves. I chose this one because my camera and photo/filming props just couldn't all fit in just two drawers and the smaller table just felt cosier and more convenient.

Another thing I always wanted was a white, fake fur rug and when I saw this one, I immediately fell in love with it and knew that it needs to be on my chair for extra comfort and prettiness.

URBAN SUNLIGHT

If you have known me for a while, you might be aware that I don't have one style that I follow. I love to experiment and see myself in different characters. Knowing that there are so many cool things outside to experiment with, I couldn't give in for just one style. Lately I have been into edgy, dark outfits that mainly consist of black pieces. Hope you like the outfit just as much I do!

I am happy to say that the spring has finally arrived here, in Copenhagen and I can finally take my favourite Zara sunnies for walks. I love matching them with my Monki septum ring that I got last month for Copenhagen Fasion Week. And I am so glad that septum rings are so IN right now and they are making nice designs for fake ones because I definitely don't have the courage to pierce a real one even though it has been a tiny dream of mine.

Easter and other thingies

Here are couple of my latest Instapic's for you to enjoy. The first to up there are from the Easter when we (students it is) had a nice celebration with closest friends and delicious food. It was the first time when I celebrated Easter by such a nice table, hehe.

 And up here are my favorite snacks - Ben&Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream and triple chocolate chip cookies - and - salad lunch with chicken baked in soy marinade, cherry tomatoes, cheese and chicken lavash snack. I hope I made your taste-buds go a bit nuts.

Up here on the left you can see a beautiful piece of architecture in Copenhagen and my famous garlic bread baguettes with melted cheese. mm..

God, Hogwarts or whatever you believe in, bless Instagram. :)) This is my only tool for taking shots right now since I sold my beloved Nikon just recently (and that is the reason for my lack of posting).. 

But no worries, I am getting a new camera pretty soon.

H&M SPRING 2014 & H&M HOME

Today I visited the H&M Showroom in Latvia where the Spring 2014 collection was presented. I met  a lot of great people whom I had not seen for a while, drank some champagne and talked fashion.. A great way to end a vacation, don't you think?

About the collection.. 

I must say that I found few pieces that I would love to own and wear this spring. For example, the dark tassel dress below and above is a real key piece to wear to any fashionable public event. 

The collection feels very bohemian yet chic and urban. Lots of tassels, diamonds and ruffles were used to bring this collection to life!

OUTFIT #240413

Now it is official - Spring is here and my leather jacket is finally out of the closet. I can not explain in words how happy I am that the snow has melted and I don't have to worry about getting my feet wet or cold anymore. Now the only thing that worries me is getting my bike ready for the season. :)

Dear readers. I don`t know if you have noticed but I am obsessed with one thing. Guess what? It`s bike riding. That is the one thing I can truly enjoy and never get enough of. So I got really excited about the new H&M collaboration with Brick Line Bikes.

FRIENDS

You know what I`ve actually missed A LOT? My best friend, since like forever - Alice. We basically grew up together and I could not imagine what my life would be like if I hadn`t met her. We`ve shared laughs, cries, drama and everything teenagers go through. I remember how we used to take each others calls and people on the other line would mistake us with each other. 

There was the idol-drama too, when a really long time ago we would argue about celebrities and which of us is more a-like with the celebrity we love. Then we grew up and all the little fights are now some really great memories. 

She is the friend with whom you can share your secrets and even if it turns out to be a thing to laugh about you know that you`re being taken seriously. 

One of the most stupid and most funny thing we`ve done is making a SPA in her lawn. When the gardeners were still decorating the garden and there were big piles of sand, we dug pits and made them look like little bathtubs. I won`t spread out in details but needless to say that it was a fun day!

She is my best friend no matter what and I am lucky to know such an awesome person, friend and girl.

BIKE RIDE

Hello dear readers! I am so very sorry for not posting for a while but all the homework I had to do really took my time. Today I went to check on my teeth`s health at hygienist and they are all healthy! Yay! Anyhow, after that I went out with my cousin Lelde and we went for a bike ride because it was so sunny outside and she had just bought a new bike. Here`s how it went:

 This is probably my most "smiley" post ever. I am always so serious in photos, but in these ones I`m laughing in almost every one of them. :)
